Jeremy Goode Named Choice Hotels/Northeast Conference Player of the Week

Mount St. Mary's sophomore point guard Jeremy Goode (Charlotte, N.C./Providence Day) has been named the Choice Hotels/Northeast Conference Player of the Week. Goode averaged 15.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.0 steals in leading the Mount to a 3-0 week.

Goode began the week with 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals in the Mount's win at Navy. He followed that game with 13 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 73-55 victory against Long Island in the team's Northeast Conference opener. Goode rounded his week out with a team-high 19 points in the Mount's 60-59 victory at Central Connecticut State.

For the season, Goode is averaging 15.9 points (7th in the NEC), 5.7 assists (3rd in the NEC), 2.7 steals (3rd in the NEC) and 4.3 rebounds per game. He leads the Mount in scoring, assists and steals.
