Goode Named to collegeinsider.com
Mid-Major Freshman All-America Team

Mount St. Mary's freshman guard Jeremy Goode (Charlotte,
N.C./Providence Day) has been named to collegeinsider.com's
Freshman Mid-Major All-America team. The team consists of 16
players as selected by the collegeinsider.com staff with input
from Division I coaches and NBA scouts.
Goode, a member of the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team,
averaged 10.1 points, 5.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals
per game this season as the Mount's starting point guard. The
5-9 Charlotte, N.C., native set the Mount's freshman record for
assists with 155 while his 56 steals were the second-most by a
Mount freshman in school history.
Goode scored in double figures 18 times during the season,
topped by a 20-point effort in the Mount's 71-63 home loss to
NEC champion Central Connecticut State on Jan. 13. He nearly
recorded the first triple-double in school history with a
19-point, 10-rebound, nine-assist effort in the Mount's win over
Fairleigh Dickinson.
Goode helped lead the Mount to its first NEC Tournament win in
seven season with 13 points and five assists in a 78-61 win over
Robert Morris. The Mount finished the season 11-20 overall and
9-9 in the NEC.
